Sysco’s presence in Costa Rica began with Mayca, its first company in the country, which has grown to become a leader in local distribution and foodservice. Mayca has played a key role in strengthening Sysco’s regional operations by delivering high-quality service, operational efficiency, and a strong market presence. With its extensive network and deep industry expertise, Mayca continues to be a cornerstone of Sysco’s success in Costa Rica.
Building on this strong foundation, Sysco established its first Shared Services Center in Costa Rica to provide corporate and global support, with a particular focus on operations in Houston. While Mayca drives local distribution, our Shared Services Center team supports critical functions such as Finance, Technology, HR, and Supply Chain.
