Acerca del role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven project manager who, with limited supervision, will lead cross-functional initiatives where technology supports the growth of our sites and the migration of customers within sites. This role will drive the successful planning and execution of projects including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management. Creates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources. Delegates tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete them. Engage within the team to ensure deliverables are met and effective decisions are made for project progression, with support from senior members of the team as needed. Manages dependencies across project tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads low to medium complexity projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints. Owns all aspects of projects, to deliver approved business functionality to Sysco. In partnership with the Project Sponsor, defines scope, delivery approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and budget.
Coordinates with all stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed project schedules, defining project activities and phases, critical dates/milestones, and duration estimates. Monitors and revises schedules as necessary.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling multiple aspects of approved projects throughout the lifecycle, including change request management, issue management, risk management, and status reporting.
Manages the project budget, including purchases and contracts, and monthly spend and resource forecasting. Obtains cost and overhead estimates and develops project budgets based on the business case.
Addresses remediation of low-level risks, issues, or requests for scope change. Recognizes the different level of risks and engages a senior team member, when needed. Implements responses to risks and issues within areas of responsibility, following established change control processes, and records issues/resolutions.
Facilitates requisitions, creates purchase requests, and onboards third-party resources to specific projects.
Owns project- or workstream-level reporting with a predefined subset of reports. Adapts reporting and communications to meet stakeholder needs.
Establishes and agrees upon quality indicators for processes and outputs, aligning with relevant stakeholders and referencing the business case.
Conducts regular reviews throughout the project/program lifecycle to evaluate business case alignment, management processes, progress towards outputs (in terms of time, cost, and quality), stakeholder relationships, final outcomes, and realization of benefits.
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Technology/IT or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of project management experience in a technology-focused project manager role.
Experience with project management tools and methodology. Experience with predictive PMI best practices preferred additional agile/scrum experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
PMP, Prince 2 or similar certification. Additionally experienced with Agile framework or CSM certification preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or PlanView.
Demonstrated understanding of project financials and measures of performance.
2+ years working on technology construction projects – projects that support the IT infrastructure and/or software (i.e. ERP) setup for new, expanding, or transforming locations
2+ years working on projects that use technology to transfer business data between business units.

Able to create a variety of project artifacts, including resource schedules, budgets, financial forecasts, progress logs, etc. following existing standards.
Manages and resolves conflicts and disagreements in a constructive manner. Seeks help when conflict cannot be resolved or requires additional expertise.
Applies new techniques and methodologies or adapts existing techniques and methodologies to solve project-related issues.
Helps the team to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, and applies problem solving skills in a variety of situations.
